The studio has been extremely cold this
past week.
I have been getting in, turning on the heating
and then going to get coffee.
By the time I get back the studio is above arctic
and I can start thinking about taking off my coat and putting on my studio
fleece!
I also have a furry blanket in the chair that I can wrap around me when
it’s VERY cold.
Ah the romantic life of an artist!!!

This is the view from my window when the
snow started getting serious.
The schools closed early last Friday (HUGE cheer
from children!) and we snugged in at home making soup and baking cakes and
puddings.
Though before the snow, I did manage to get some stuff done in my new project book.
Since then I have hit a bit of an artistic wall and need to push
through (that always happens with me after a really good week).
And now its raining and everything has gone back to grey from white.
it got me thinking.... isn't it funny how we just accept that snow is white!
wouldn't it be great if snow came in different colours!
and you didn't know what colour snow you would get until it snowed.... how fantastic would that be !
Rainbow layers.
Sledging would be awesome
Today I have to plan a group of workshops I am teaching next half term
So no more dreaming of multi coloured snow..... lesson plans and 'outcomes' for me
Have a wonder full Friday
